XTR PEPO’S “PANTAH” Cafe Racer was a tribute to the original Ducati Pantah 500. The Ducati Pantah produced between 1980 and 1986, was an Italian motorcycle with a modern Ducati’s 90° V-twin engine and was first shown at the Milan Bike Show in December 1979. In 1976 the Ducati’s 350 cc and 500 cc parallel twins were failed. But after some developments, the Pantah and its successors have proved that contrary to the “received wisdom“, a twin-cylinder biker can compete and wins against the fours cylinder. The Pantah’s performance was impressive: 500 cc, 50 hp (36.5 kW) @ 8500 rpm, 180 kg, 1450 mm of wheelbase, bulky and stable for racing, it had a trellis frame and the swingarm pivoted on the rear of the crankcase. About the Builder

Pepo Rosell, Head of XTR PEPO. He was a Biologist, work in scientific research in the field of Aquaculture. And then he decides to work on his passion: MOTORCYCLES. Pepo loves to race bikes especially the sportive aka endurance bikes. And you can see that passion almost every bike made by him. He worked with two Ducati’s importers before starting his own business. He founded Radical Ducati and fronted for 13 years before starting XTR PEPO.

Pepo Rosell decided to build a tribute to the original Ducati Pantah 500. Pepo chooses 2016 Ducati Monster 821.

Pepo took parts from other companies as well as build by XTR including Discacciati brake rotors, SP CNC-machined upper yoke, CNC Racing brake coolers, hand-made RC radiator, Ducabike rear sets, Carbon4us carbon parts, and much more.
