Benelli’s upcoming retro motorcycle against Royal Enfield’s best-selling product, the Classic 350. Benelli will launch a modern classic called the Benelli Imperiale by 2019.
The Benelli Imperial 400 is an authentic and pure motorcycle with classic loops and traditional hardware. Before we get acquainted with this neo-classic the Imperial 400 revisits a historic model from the Benelli motor by reins produced back in the 1950’s.
The word Imperial a was first used on a motorcycle that was 125 CC and that came from a motorbike.
It is equipped with a single-cylinder 4-stroke air-cooled engine with SOHC and comes with electronic fuel ignition this 373 cc engine produces 19.7 HP at 5500 RPM and the torque output is rated to be at 28 millimeters.
It is paired to a 5-speed gearbox and is Euro 4 compliant the bike has a curved weight of 200 kilos and the retro-styled fuel tank has a capacity of 12 liters. The Imperial 400 chassis is mixed off double cradle tubes and steel plates.
While the suspension features front telescopic forks with 41 mm diameter stems and double shock absorbers 55 mm Travel.
The braking unit on the 400 comprises of standard ABS and it comes with a bigger 300 mm disk on the front and in smaller to 40 mm discs at the rear.
The performance also depends on the tires you choose so make sure you choose the right one for Michelin wide range of tires from Superbikes, small scooters, and even cars.
The bikes are aluminum alloy wheels will come in different diameters. So, on the front, you have a 19-inch rim and on the rear, you get an 18-inch rim on the front you have 110 90 second tire while the rear gets a 130 80 section tire.
